Rudolf F.Zallinger (1919-1995) is best known for his herculean Murals at the Peabody Museum, Yale, a worthy visualisation of Natural History. He worked extensively for LIFE magazine who granted him such production values as fold out pages, increasing the sense of scale and ambition in the magazine.
