JUDGE was a cute humour magazine and most of the issues above were from the twenties. I liked the convention of changing the format for almost every issue, typography, page design, colour as if the reader had to search the news-stands to find it rather than go for the obvious masthead.

Many issues were special issues, that is themed - and announced on the cover. Some covers were direct pastiche of other publications.
